This mounts in rider postion #2, the forward position, giving the rider more room and control. This kit requires a small weld about a half an inch long on each side of the frame bracket, a relatively simple operation. The kit includes everything you need for installation (except the welder of course). This same kit was used on the winning Pikes Peak factory race bike ridden by Davey Durelle who set a new fastest overall motorcycle time for the mountain.
