Shown here is the XR650L bolt-on stabilizer kit using the stock 7/8 diameter bars and triple clamp. The stock crossbar has a slight 3mm 'bow' applied to it, in order to clear the stabilizer. The instructions tell you how to bow the stock crossbars or you can order optional Renthal bars that come with a bowed crossbar. This kit retains the stock key location and locking mechanism but requires spacing the speedometer outboard slightly to clear the stabilizer. In some cases the oil dipstick ears may need very slight trimming to clear the frame bracket post.
