Suzuki DR Stabilizer Photos | Scott's Performance

Stabilizer kit complete — Shown here is the complete weld-on kit for the DR650. This particular kit requires handlebars with a higher crossbar in order for the stabilizer to physically fit. The bars are available as an option from Scotts, should you need them. Even though it's a weld on kit, it takes very little time to install. The weld-on tower requires 2 small welds about 1/2" long on both sides of the tower, a simple job for a qualified welder. The stabilizer sits very close to the odometer and in some cases will touch the rubber mounted odometer which easily moves out of the way. A minor modification to the rubber turn indicator mount is required also. The kit includes detailed step by step pictured instructions, all the hardware required and Owner's manual. Yes, you'll have to provide the welder. The stabilizer adds considerably to the handling of this model.

Stabilizer kit complete — Here is a side view of the same weld on installation. This is a nice attribute to this bike.

Shown here are the parts that make up the Uni mount weld on kit for this model.
